CFA009 Series Reciprocating Plucker

Main Features:

    Two plucking beaters ensure that regardless of whether the plucking trolley moves forward or backward, one beater plucks in the forward direction while the other plucks in the reverse direction. The motor-driven beater suspension device lifts the reverse-plucking beater, with the lifting height adjustable as needed to prevent excessive plucking depth. This ensures that both beaters operate under relatively balanced loads, reducing wear on components such as belts and bearings. The dual floating sawtooth beaters pluck cotton tufts of uniform size with minimal dispersion, meeting the requirement of fine, small, and uniform cotton plucking from the very beginning of the blowing-carding process. The incremental descent of the plucking arm can be steplessly adjusted within the range of 0.1–1.99 mm per cycle. The operating travel speed of the plucking trolley is variable between 5–15 m/min.

Main Applications:

    As the first process in the opening and cleaning line, this machine is suitable for plucking various grades of raw cotton, as well as chemical fibers and viscose fibers up to 76 mm in length. The plucking arm, equipped with beaters, can move vertically and automatically rotate 180°. It reciprocates along the tower to perform fine plucking on cotton bales. The small plucked cotton tufts are transported via pneumatic conveying pipelines to the next opening and cleaning equipment for further processing.
